1941. Mild-mannered linguist Enzo McWheattie is summoned by his old friend Whitsuntide, a deranged scientist working for the war effort, to a secret bunker under the Cotswolds. McWheattie, a lovely man, is completely oblivious to the fact that his “great friend” is a monomaniacal sociopath. 　　Whitsuntide’s huge subterranean machine, powered by all the electricity left over from the London blackout, is designed to summon the spirits of dead British spies so he can debrief them and discover what they learned prior to death. But so far, no one has been able to understand the ghost he’s raised. 　　McWheattie tries to interpret the dead voice, but an unpleasant surprise awaits the team, as the spectre, supercharged with megavolts, is not the friendly spirit they had been hoping for...

Sakuma Ryu, who runs a liquor store alone in downtown Tokyo, ends up living with his eldest son and his wife after a small fire breaks out. His sons are always there to help, but Ryu, who has stubbornly lived alone since her husband's death, feels uncomfortable there, and frequently visits his tea-drinking buddy Kinue to vent his frustrations. However, Kinue's sudden death and a postcard inspire Ryu to set off on a solo trip in her husband's beloved Mini Cooper. Her destination is Matsuyama in Shikoku, where she spent her childhood and where her first love, for whom she harbored a faint crush, still lives. The Mini Cooper speeds smoothly between Gifu and Kyoto. But when Shota and a young couple from the future join Ryu in the Mini Cooper, things start to look ominous...

The End revolves around two couples Priya (Pavani Reddy), Rajeev Mathews (Sudheer Reddy) and Gautham (Yuva Chandra), Rekha (Gazal Somaiah). While Priya and Rajeev are happily married and staying in their own villa in the outskirts of Hyderabad, Gautham, who happens to be a common friend of Priya and Rajeev, is a UK-return medical graduate planning to set up his own hospital. Meanwhile, few untoward incidents took place in Priya-Rajeev's villa. A female construction worker accidentally dies in a water-less pool in the villa. The story here takes a major u-turn as turbulence surfaces in Priya and Rajeev's personal life and marital life. That changes the life of Rajeev, Priya and Gautham forever.
